DEIF Power Management Controls – Emergency Support

Selected Project Experience

BP FPSO Glen Lyon – 106 MW DEIF Power Management System:

Commissioned a 106 MW DEIF PPU Power Management System onboard BP's FPSO Glen Lyon at Hyundai Heavy Industries, integrating four 25 MW Dresser-Rand gas turbine generators, two 2.5 MW Wärtsilä standby generators, and one 1 MW MAN emergency generator.

Bir Seba Oil Field Development, Algeria – 52.1 MW DEIF Power Management System:

Commissioned the DEIF Power Management System for the Sonatrach, PTTEP, and Petrovietnam joint venture, including generator synchronisation, load sharing, generator protection, blackout prevention, and full power management integration.

ExxonMobil TLP-A Offshore Platform – 10 MW Modernisation:

Replaced obsolete generator control and protection equipment with modern DEIF PPU3 controllers and Basler DECS-250N excitation systems while maintaining zero production downtime throughout the upgrade.

Caterpillar Power Module Upgrade – Haiti:

Successfully retrofitted a 1 MW Caterpillar Power Module with a DEIF AGC-150 controller, improving reliability, serviceability, and long-term maintainability under challenging operating conditions.

Super Yacht DEIF PMS Troubleshooting & Repairs:

Diagnosed, repaired, and recommissioned DEIF Power Management Systems onboard more than 20 super yachts worldwide, resolving synchronising faults, load-sharing issues, protection trips, communication failures, and generator control problems.
